Account manager/ Business Analysis (marketplace, software):

  • Understanding of online marketing tools and marketplace platforms.

  • Knowledge of how digital tools add value to company strategy and performance.

  • Contribute to business growth through creating and maintaining long-term client relationships.

  • Act as the point of contact for clients for digital management matters.

  • Address client queries effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Experience with customer service and account management.

  • Research technical considerations, existing product functionality, and other related matters in depth to develop a recommended set of functional specifications, technical specification, user stories and related content (workflows, etc.) needed to understand the options to solve the customer and business needed.

  • Collaborate with the Product Management team and stakeholders to understand the customer, business and market needs and ensure alignment with product portfolio vision, portfolio roadmap & integration, and stability products.

  • Translate the customer, business and market needs into product requirements that solve the customer business problem or optimize the business practice.

  • Be a business partner for new sellers providing them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on the platform.

  • Work with platform customers as an account manager – helping them to launch and grow their business.

  • Manage contract negotiations

  • Ensure customer satisfaction

  • Strong enterprise software track record

  • Confident pitching into a range of stakeholders up to C-Level executives

  • Cultural fit for a growth start-up

  • Gather detailed notes and actions items while running weekly meetings with Clients and ensure these are tracked to completion

  • Document detailed Business Requirements and work closely with system Analysis and Developers to satisfy customer’s needs.

Skills

  • BA/BS degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience required

  • 3+ years of technology related sales or business development experience.

  • 3+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions.

  • Experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.

  • Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.

  • Experience in positioning and selling technology in new customers and new market segments.

  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership.

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels

  • Able to work independently and take initiative

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
